Regulations for the Rental of Sports and Recreational Equipment

Forrestia Tourist Settlement

1. General Provisions

These Regulations define the rules for renting and using sports and recreational equipment available within the Forrestia Tourist Settlement. The Regulations constitute an integral part of the main Regulations of the Settlement. The use of equipment implies acceptance of these Regulations.

Equipment available for rent includes in particular:

– bicycles
– electric scooters
– kayaks
– SUP boards
– pedal boats

2. Rental Conditions

The use of sports and recreational equipment in violation of applicable law, these Regulations, or the guidelines provided by the facility staff is strictly prohibited.

In particular, the use of equipment is prohibited under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or other substances with similar effects.

Minors are not permitted to use the equipment without the supervision of an adult.

Rental fees are charged in accordance with the current price list available at the Settlement Reception.

3. Rules for Using the Equipment

a) The equipment must be used in accordance with its intended purpose, safety rules, and applicable legal regulations. The user is responsible for the property entrusted to them by the operator of the settlement. In the event that the entrusted property is used in violation of applicable law, facility regulations, or attraction rules, the user shall be obliged to compensate for any damage, destruction, or loss of the property according to its market value. The current market value of the entrusted property is specified in the price list available at the Settlement Reception.

b) When using kayaks, SUP boards, and pedal boats, the use of life jackets is mandatory.

c) Electric scooters may only be used in accordance with the applicable road traffic regulations.

d) It is prohibited to use the equipment under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating substances, to lend the equipment to third parties, to perform any unauthorized repairs, or to use the equipment in a manner that may endanger safety.

4. Liability

The use of equipment is at the user’s own risk.

The operator of the Forrestia Settlement shall not be liable for accidents resulting from failure to comply with these Regulations, improper use of the equipment, or events caused by force majeure.

The user bears full financial responsibility for any damage, destruction, or loss of the equipment, as well as for any damage caused to third parties.

5. Final Provisions

The operator reserves the right to amend these Regulations.

The current version of the Regulations is available on the Forrestia Settlement website and at the Reception.

In matters not regulated herein, the provisions of Polish law shall apply.
